Sicilian Cannoli

Ah the sicilian cannoli.  These sicilian treats are eaten during the carnival season and have become worldwide symbols of sicilian cuisine.

Cannoli traditionally are filled with ricotta cheese but you can also use mascarpone, or even custard should you wish.

Before we see the ingredients you are going to want to get some cannoli tubes to make then cannoli wafers.  You can get these in your Italian grocery store or on (or .UK 😉 ) or a supermarket.  They are just stainless steel tubes so if you cannot find any be creative!
