The panna cotta has become a worldwide dessert and something that you will find in many restaurants.  The panna cotta, which translates to “cooked cream” in English, is actually very easy to make and can be made with a variety of ingredients like berries and fruits to garnish.

The exact origins of the panna cotta are unknown but it is generally thought to be from the piedmont region of northern Italy.

It’s a good idea to have some ramekins to put the panna cotta in to rest or some other small cups.
